I just got home from surfing ours it was the first good swell we have had in a while and it was good to be back surfing good waves with mates.

This sequence was a few seconds after I finally surface from that wave.
The shot was taken from a good friend Ray Collins who was shooting from the back of a Ski. he was sitting about 50 meters away from were I feel so I was tripping out when I popped up right next to him.
as you can see in the shot I was fucking rattled .....

Looking at this shot spooks me out a bit this was the wave that I all most drowned on at the end of last year. 

I had a really thick buoyancy vest on and thought that would help out if things went bad.

What i didn't realise is you could still get pushed down so far that your ears almost burst and takes you over 40 seconds to resurface

hahahah that god for life jackets.
